Starting a Quiz Team
What does it take to run a quizzing program at your church? Just an adult who is willing to spend a few hours a week running a quiz practice to get the team ready and quiz questions. A set of jump seats is very helpful as well (see the resources section below for where to buy quiz equipment).

Resources
Here are some links for quizzing resources.
Acme Quiz Products
Acme quiz sells scripture portions, quiz seats, and a great program called QuizMaster. The QuizMaster software allows you to not only generate lists of questions for studying and quiz sets for practice, but has all sorts of study aids and games in it. For $9.95 you can't go wrong.
The quiz seats sold by Acme can either be run connected to their consol or run by a laptop. The console includes all the necessary timers. The software that you can run on the laptop will score the match, has quizzer names, and all sorts of other features.
Quizhelper
Quizhelper is a now free service that allows you to create question sets. It is all web based, not downloadable software. The questions on this site are made by experience quizzers in CMD. These questions tend to be harder, but of generally higher quality than those in QuizMaster (in my opinion).
Quiztime
Quiztime sells jump seats. These seats have been around for many years and are very reliable. They may not have all the bells and whistles that Acme's seats have, but are easier to use in many respects. You can't go wrong with these quiz seats.
www.QuizEquipment.com
This site sells quizzing switch boxes seats and other gear for all sorts of quizzing programs. Some of our district quiz gear is from this site and has lasted a long time.
QuizStuff
QuizStuff sells pads and their own software by which the pads are controlled. We have no experience with these products in our district.
Quizzing Essentials
Pete Tonner sells the metal benches that are frequently used at district meets and at Internationals.
